I failed a State Police poly in the past.   I am also awaiting several federal poly’s (DEA, FBI, USSS).  Will Federal LE agencies view that  “failed” poly negatively? Will it stigmatize me?

I assume that I will get the following question during my Fed poly ?  “Have you ever taken a poly before?”, “If so, what were the results?”.   I also assume that since I have to tell him I ‘failed’ a police poly  previously, that I am already branded a ‘liar’ in his eyes, and doomed no matter what?!

Given what I have read, that for a polygrapher to ‘pass’ you after you have ‘failed’ a previous poly, would be too indicate just how subjective and inaccurate they really are! And I guess polygraphers don't like to admit that.   

I also feel like filing a lawsuit with the ACLU over my results. In my last poly they were very intent on asking in the pre-employment questionnaire, "if you have ever sued anyone and what was the reason."  I assume that if I tell future polygraphers that I have sued a former polygrapher, that I am also doomed to fail before i even take a seat!!
