At best your attempts to use the counter measures caused the examiner to question the results of the test. I guess you thought  that by following a book and lying you could pass. That Mr. markus_del_marko is just another example of THE LIE BEHIND the lie behind the lie detector. Don't get angry at your polygrapher get angry with the people who keep trying to convince you that counter measures work.

see thats the point i didn't fail the test based on the answers given during the in phase exam. he changed his tune over the past few days and it went from inconclusive to a fail because i didn't disclose all my personal info to him.  he is a liar and a fraud. you must be a polygraph examiner aren't you ?

What else should I say  You have said it all. You used countermeasures and failed your test. If The lie behind the Lie Detector contained the truth, You should have passed. 

Why do you blame the polygrapher when It was Mr. Mashke who taught you the techniques that didn't work for you?  Mr. Mashke will probably just say you didn't do it right. 

Don't hold yourself responsible all you did was lie and cheat. Don't Hold Mr. Mashke responsible. he just taught you how to lie and cheat.

Instead hold the polygrapher responsible even though all he did was catch you lying and cheating.

yes i answered all the questions honestly. just during control question i thought of things to get me upset. this guy try to make me believe that irrelevant questions such as what state are you in were control questions. 

i just left out a few things during the pre test interview, that i felt were non of his business and were not asked on the test itself. 

and sancho, if these test are soo accurate then why the hell aren't they used in courts ?  he had the full report before he did the test, he was just lying to me. he even said today it wasn't the questions that made the test fail, it was supposed conflicting reports given to him.  the other day he said it would be inconclusive at best and that he thinks i knew more about polygraphs. 

of course my lawyer will not give any bad test to the prosecutor, that would only give her false ammo. she already doesn't have a shred of proof against me or i wouldn't be a free man still after a 9 month investigation. 

bottom line is the test is nothing more than a scam that i lost $500 paying for. the first test i took over the summer came out inconclusive too and i told the truth and didn't apply countermeasures. so what do you have to say about that sancho ?

PS just a guess, but I'm betting that the report that your attorney finally sent to the examiner provided evidence that you were concealing established facts that he would find material to the design of  test questions.

Further to my post - I just talked to a lawyer friend and he said if you have not signed a form allowing your lawyer to release medical data and his report contained just one page of medical records and the polygrapher made a decision based on that medical record it could open a legal can of worms into the laps of both of them.

A polygrapher cannot legally fail you on anything but the results of the test. At this point, he may say that he suspected CMs even thought he didn't say that in the beginning.

I know nothing about your case (niether does anyone else but your lawyer and I doubt that he knows whether you are guilty or innocent), but he was an idiot for furnishing your medical reports to the polygrapher. Ask the polygrapher for a copy of the charts. That will probably be an effort in futility. Your new lawyer can get it by duces tecom discovery if your case goes to trial. Have the chart read by the quality board of your state or, better, in another state. Here, again, I'm delving into state's jurisprudence and each state is somewhat different I hear. Just take what I say as a guess and pass it along to your new lawyer.

i now know how much of a joke these damn tests are. it sickens me that i payed this private polygrapher $$ and all he did was lie and deceive me from start to finish.  today he calls me and says well not based on the test, but based on the report i finally received from your lawyer i have to say you have been deceptive to me.  so i have to all the sudden deem it a failure.  he asked me initially if i had ever been in a mental hospital, i said no. he asked me if i have ever had a polygraph before, i said no. well both were a lie but those questions weren't even asked during the test at all. i think he has been screwing with me from the get go. he had the report from my lawyer or he wouldn't of proceeded with the test. 

so basically what i gather from him is he's calling me a liar now, but the test didn't show i lied at all. i think i had a perfect test and he knew i used countermeasures during it. i never lied with the answers i gave him. he's just mad i know about the test from start to finish. now he says he wont even re-test me when just the other day he said he would. he was rude and still trying to get me to confess to being dishonest to him over the phone. 

im searching fro a new lawyer, one who doesn't mention these voodoo tests anymore. im tired of being screwed around and lied to by people who are suppose to be working for me. this examiner is a joke and a horrible excuse for a human being as far as im concerned. they want you to be honest with them, but they lie to you from start to finish. he even said i didn't fail because of the test per say, but because of conflicting reports. i shouldn't have to tell this guy every aspect of my personal life that doesn't relate to the matter at hand.  i told the truth to him during the test plain and simple and thats all that matters. i will NEVER AGAIN take another one of these ridiculous tests.

If the prosecution is making a charging decision based upon a polygraph, then they don't have enough evidence to convict you, in my opinion.

Also, you need to do some serious education on the effectiveness of the polygraph, and the likelyhood of false positives, and educate your attorney ASAP.  Good luck.

i recently had my polygraph and i think it went very well, i used the countermeasures during control questions and remained calm during all others. the entire exam from start to finish was word by word textbook after reading the lie behind the polygraph from this site. i almost laughed out loud several times.

i cant go into details of my situation, but i was told if i passed the private polygraph by the 1st of the year, they wouldn't charge me. after the test he sat down with me and said the test shows you didn't commit the crime, but he kept going back to just one question. my sexual past, i told him everything about it. he said he wants to pass me, but that it will more than likely come out inconclusive. he asked again how much i knew about polygraphs. i told him just what ive seen on the tv shows. 

this is my life and im scared, he even offered to re-test me for free ? but he never said i failed it, he said he has to take a few days to read the scores before talking to my lawyer. was he just bluffing and trying to get some sort of confession ? i answered every question honestly.

what can i do as im afraid i could be charged any day now. my lawyer said if the test didn't come out a full pass, he would tell the prosecutor i refused to take the test. if i passed all the questions related to the accusation, why cant she be allowed to see that. everybody believes me and im running out of options here.
