Title: University of California Police
Post by: Brownsuit on Aug 06, 2002, 03:49 PM
Does anyone know if the UC police departments use the poly in their hiring process?  Specifically UC Irvine, UCLA, UC Riverside?  Or the Cal States, Cal Poly Pomona, CSU LA or San Bernardino?

It does not appear that they do. However, an anonymous phone call could clear it up.

Ironically, the University of California was the home of John Larson, a medical student at the university who invented the polygraph.

UC system DOES NOT use poly. My buddy is a sgt. at UC and he thinks the poly is pure BS.
