Post by: canguy32 on Jun 04, 2002, 05:25 AM

Okay here is the situation, I had a friend, take the poly.  I told him all about the book and what to do.  he passes, no shit. this is for real.  now he told me that when he did the stim test he puckered up and change his brething.  after the stim test and after she told him his card she asked if he felt anything.  he replied NO.  She then showed him the chart and it was odvious.  Now she then told him the questions, and read all 10.  is your name........
                 Do you live in........
are you lying about anything in reguards to sex
otwy told me have you ever takien something from work that did not belong to you.
it went on and on.  she did the poly twice and then said okay
Ithink you are finished here...........He is now in the final stages of the background and will find out this week if he is offered a spot as a  LEO.   Now he says he only puckered on the stim test and not the actual 10 test questions, is this possible.  Doug Willams said he just got lucky..what do you  experts think?         It also may be possible that he did not want to incriminate himself and decided not to tell me he stung the actual control questions.... get back SOOOON it is driving me nuts :o :o

I think that not enough information is available to reach an informed opinion regarding this polygraph examination. However, for anyone contemplating using countermeasures during a "control" question "test," it would be prudent to produce reactions to the "control" questions (in addition to augmenting one's reactions to the appropriate question during the "stim test").
