Title: Do the evasion techniques work???
Post by: vexed on May 31, 2002, 03:53 PM
I know in theory it should work. Has anyone here ever passed a polygraph test using the techniques given on this site ie. clenching the anal sphinkter, biting the tongue and establishing a baseline bretahing pattern.
If u passed did u practise before hand with or without a polygraph?

I hvae to go for an employee screening test and have a history of drug abuse.

Dear vexed,

Is it correct to state that your screening test is being required before you can be employed in a public position?

Has your history of drug abuse happened many years ago or is it still recent?  Regardless of your polygraph exam, or the ethics of asking such questions concerning drugs use, it does matter to the public's perception if it should come to light in the wrong way.  I hope you get the job if you have put your drug use in the "history" book but lying to cover one's past can be a stressful way to get a job and keep it (never know when a person of your past experiences wants to "get to know" you again for their gain, i.e. blackmail).

Regards.
