I visited the AP document vault and found a treasury of valuable information. Although one thing is puzzling me
. Why is the use of mental cms and altering breathing at the same time not recommended .. does it make your cms too obvious. Should one mix and match to avoid being caught

The premise of your question is mistaken. In The Lie Behind the Lie Detector, we recommend combining breathing reactions with either mental countermeasures or tongue-biting.
