Title: Poly Admission
Post by: Bobcat on May 03, 2017, 06:26 PM
On my polygraph, on what I believe to be a control question, I admitted to lying to a supervisor in the past a couple of times. I am very anxious as to whether or not this will disqualify me. This is a pre employment poly for a PD. I know that police are very big on integrity and honesty, so I'm afraid that it will look very bad to the police commissioners and that I will be a potential liar on the job.

So long as the lies you admitted to are innocuous, I do not think it will be a problem. What you did was expected and the fact that this bothered you is, ironically, in your favor.

Quotelying to a supervisor

Funny, that exact question was asked of me at my CIA polygraph "interview"!   :)
