Title: Can Military personel refuse a CI polygraph?
Post by: Guest4864 on Sep 16, 2016, 01:43 AM
Hello, this person has never taken a polygraph before and is being assigned to a position that might require one. What can happen to military personnel who refuses to take a polygraph?

In principle, yes, military personnel, indeed, any federal employee, may legally refuse to take a polygraph. But in practice, such refusal will result in an adverse security determination, which in turn will result in harm to an individual's career.
