Title: LVMPD Law Enforcement Support Technician BI process
Post by: LestApplicant on Mar 09, 2015, 03:48 PM
Just curious if anyone knows if LVMPD or any similar agencies actually polygraph for the LEST position. I have heard mixed things and am just trying to clarify. Current LEST's have said they did not but no one knows if they currently do. :-?

I have started my Personal History Statement and disclosed all information pertaining to the department but everything is general information and says I am subject to a polygraph.

Does this mean there will be one? Or is it only for cadets and other positions.

I took one. So, yes..polygraph is a part of the process. Just be truthful like I did and you would fine.
