Title: Are they worth anything?
Post by: Kloberemt on Feb 04, 2015, 12:08 AM
I know this is not a lot of information, but a family member has an antique polygraph in the basement they might give to me. It looks complete and nice. I was told it worked years ago. I will get a brand etc later. I'm kind of a antique / tech junkie and thought it migut he fun to get working and restore if / as needed. I know it's old.. Has brain leads and is the size of a small piano. I see tubes etc inside so must be fairly old. Prop take 2-4 guys to move upstairs. Anyone have any idea what this is, the possibility of restoring it or what it's worth? Is it worth getting working? All I know is it looks awesome,

Just fishing before I bring this monster into my shop.

Thanks in advance

If you go to www.lie2me.net/thepolygraphmuseum, it will take you to Ball and Gillespie Polygraph website.  They have an extensive collection of antique polygraph instruments, and can probably answer your questions.
