Title: Trying to Join The National Guard.
Post by: Jose R. on Sep 28, 2014, 01:32 AM
In 2005 I joined the army. I was removed from the army due to fraudulent enlistment for having a fake diploma. Now the Staff Sgt knew i did not finish school and was still trying to get my GED. He convinced me it would be okay not to worry. Now I have a Un-Characterized dis-charge. I'm 34 looking to join NG before the end of this year. I was told after 2 years I can rejoin as long as I have my GED. I now have my GED and 38 Credits from Berkeley College. Is it possible to get into the National Guard?

Jose,
This forum may not be the best place to ask this question. I doubt if it would be possible to obscure the fact that you were sanctioned for a fraudulent enlistment, and even if you could, you would not want yet another fly in the ointment plaguing you. It certainly wouldn't hurt to try to just lay it all on the table to a national guard recruiter and see if they may cut you a break.
