Former FBI and CIA director William Webster headed a blue ribbon panel to review FBI security in the aftermath of the Robert P. Hanssen espionage case. According to an article (http://www.usatoday.com/news/washdc/2002/04/02/usat-hanssen.htm) in the 2 April 2002 issue of USA Today, on Tuesday, 9 April, Webster will be testifying on Capitol Hill regarding the panel's recommendations.
Polygraph policy is sure to be among the matters discussed, and Webster's testimony is certain to be of interest.
The hearing on Capitol Hill referred to above on "Reforming the FBI in the 21st Century: The Lessons of the Hanssen Espionage Case" is being held by the full U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary at 10:00 A.M. in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, Room 226.
