Title: Background
Post by: jmo on Jun 07, 2012, 09:52 AM
Hello. One question regarding the background. Is it really possible for the BI to find out about every single job an applicant ever had? Thanks.

If you paid taxes/Social Security the answer is yes, if it were an under the table job it would be difficult without extensive investigation and interviews, so I would say probably not that type of job.  I did backgrounds for a number of years.

Thanks for the answer. I'm having a hard time remembering every detail about every job I've had since high school. I'm 35, and have had quite a few. I don't wanna forget one and get dq'd for ommiting it.

Go to your local Social Security Office and request your earning history. All jobs should show up in their records since the issuance of your SS Card.  You will have all the information I can discover in a background.  Good luck, there is not cost.
