Title: Has anyone EVER been told after a polygraph, "you did great, you passed!" and had NO issues?!
Post by: closeminded1 on Feb 15, 2011, 05:13 PM
I've taken some polys, read about people's experiences online, and I'm just wondering...Has ANYONE EVER been through a poly, not been interrogated and/or falsely accused, and been told "you did good, you passed!" by the polygrapher at the end?

I'm beginning to think that all polygraphers are LIARS (and they ironically want you to be truthful) and tell all examinees that they are having "problems" on certain questions.  Each of my polys, I was accused on different aspects, which makes me further believe that the polygraph is a joke.  And I've never been able to get a peak at my charts.  Even FOIA request blank out anything related to the poly.

Sometimes I think that the polygrapher is looking at a screen with constant squiggly lines that show nothing abnormal, but says to me that I'm having a reaction just to see how I react.  And I'm always told that I'm lying about something, but always different things.  lol.  Is this all a mind game?

Does anyone get through a poly without any hiccups or false accusations?

Twice. Bear in mind I've taken several, came to this site early on and read The Lie Behind The Lie Detector and learned how to use countermeasures.

But yes, I've taken two polygraph ahem..."examinations" at the conclusion of which I was told I passed.
Title: I passed with flying colors

My last polygraph exam went very smoothly. I used countermeasures to augment my response to the control questions and stayed cool during the relevant questions and he said I passed with flying colors, no deception detected.

I wasn't lying, but I have had trouble passing the polygraph in the past. Detection was detected twice and one other time I passed it. The first time I passed it I didn't find out that I had passed it for a couple of days, but both times I failed it I was immediately told that I was a big fat liar.
