Do FBI polygraph results affect The Dept Of State/DSS hiring process?  Thank you for your assistance.

No, DSS won't care.  There's a reason why they frown upon it themselves.

There was an article somewhere on this site where a State dept. employee killed himself over a failed poly from years ago with the FBI.  What the FBI did though in that case though had to deal with an active investigation, not so much anything the State was doing to him at the time.
