Title: CIA Polygraph Division Seal Unveiled
Post by: George W. Maschke on Jan 15, 2010, 09:34 AM
Did you know that the CIA's Polygraph Division has its own seal? Here it is:

The sixteen-point stars are borrowed from the CIA seal (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:CIA_seal.jpg). While the seal bears the motto "Seeking the Truth," this goal would be better served by the CIA removing the scales from its eyes and coming to terms with the fact that polygraphy is junk science (https://antipolygraph.org/articles/article-018.shtml).

Huzzah!  How the hell did you get that?

I don't suppose there's any chance the motto is outdated -- you know, that management changed it since discovering CIA polygraphers fabricate confessions and falsify charts for personal gain?  After all, there are cash incentives at stake and they never have to disclose the tapes.

Katelyn,

The truth fairy left it under my pillow. ;-)
