Title: Colleague of mine is now in the same situation
Post by: Samoset on Aug 05, 2009, 04:39 PM
Well, I have already told my tale here:

https://antipolygraph.org/forum/index.php?topic=4378.msg33442#msg33442

Basically, a colleague of mine went right ahead and signed up to be an FBI intern.  Went through the pre-interview, urinalysis, and then finally the poly.  Apparently he got an inconclusive, but he opted out of the process.  I am in the same boat as he.  I chose to stay with my IC rather than try and go for the pass but most likely fail.  What happens after this?  What can we expect?  I've got word that he didn't make any admissions.  I know I only reiterated what I had said in the pre-interview and made no admissions as well.  I haven't received any rejection notices or any follow up phone calls or email.  What next?  :( :o

I would imagine only someone involved in the FBI hiring process could give you an absolute clear answer on this.
