Title: Neat Idea
Post by: Mortified on Feb 11, 2002, 07:47 PM
You may want to consider putting some online tests on the site.  There would be a stream of questions and the user is tested on whether they are irrelevent, control or relevent questions.  Then they are scored.  It would provide practice for those going to take a test and will make them more confident.

Obviously, this may be time-consuming, but I think it would really help people.

Thanks for this suggestion; it is a good one, and one we could indeed implement, but I can't say when. Our immediate priority now is completion of the 2nd edition of The Lie Behind the Lie Detector.

Mortified,

This is indeed a good idea. It's actually something that crossed my mind a few months ago. At the time, I put the idea toward the back burner because we are not tremendously skilled with CGI scripting and JavaScript. As George said, our priority right now is the second edition of our book.
