Title: Sexual questions on Polygraph :(
Post by: smp3k3 on Jun 15, 2009, 09:33 PM
Hey, im going to be taking a polygraph for a PD i applied for, and i wanted to ask what kind of sexual questions they ask?

like questions such as have you ever thought of doing this? or doing that?

Well i have thought of sexual disturbing things, and i feel horrible about it, will i be DQ'd because of this?

or do they just care about things you have done and not things u have thought of??? :-[

There's no way of knowing. There is no standard list of questions used by police departments. Some don't ask any sexual questions. Those that do typically ask about any illegal sexual activity, in particular, with persons under the legal age of consent, or having viewed child pornography. In addition, some law enforcement agencies (including, notably, the U.S. Secret Service), have used a question about sex with animals as a "shock" control question.
