Title: Question about application process with Oakland PD
Post by: alwazracin on Feb 05, 2002, 05:46 AM
I'm currently in the process of applying for OPD. I've been told by several LE people that usually they do not like to hire people below the age of 24 due to lack of "life experience". Do you know if this is true? Also, the recruitment officer is also the poly/cvsa officer. He gave the same speil about "it will find your lies" etc etc. I recall that poly people hate cvsa so why does OPD do both? They said that if the poly does not find conclusive results they do the CVSA test. Also any input about OPD would be appreciated. thanks

educate yourself about poly's with the book that can be downloaded off this site entitled "The Lie Behind the Lie Detector"
