Title: FBI Background Check Question (previous employment)
Post by: 80otono80 on Jan 17, 2009, 10:51 AM
I have to have a FBI background check done for my employers new Radioactive Material License. I was wondering if the background check will indicate that I was fired from one of my previous jobs. I was under the impression that the check only details criminal offenses but was also under the impression that it collects information from state agencies. Seeing that I colleceted unemployment insurance I was wondering if that we would listed.
Any info would be greatly greatly appreciated. thanks!

I am sure the BI check will include your employment record. However, the determining factor of this investigation might be the reason for which you were fired.

80otono80,

Are you required to have a security clearance for your job?
