Title: CIA Skills...
Post by: CIA Skills on Sep 23, 2008, 03:31 PM
Hello everyone... I'm considering joining the CIA in the future.  One of the sections on the application addresses skills/certifications.  Obviously, foreign language skills are important, but I was wondering if any of you knew of some other 'skills' that are desirable or that hold significant weight on an application.  Also, for those who have been successful in being contacted or receiving COEs etc, would you mind sharing some of the skills you have that were included on your application?

Thanks for the help.

Nunchaku skills... bowhunting skills... computer hacking skills... The CIA only wants people who have great skills!

I too am interested in this topic. I can speak my mother language (which happens to be Bengali) pretty fluently, and I'm also *somewhat* proficient in English and German. Gonna learn Arabic too if I can. I don't have a clue as to what other skills are expected, though.
