Title: CIA Application process
Post by: jackson4231 on Jun 23, 2008, 09:19 AM
I recently completed a phone interview and subsequently, the written application for the CIA.  I have not heard back yet (although it might be too soon).  I was curious as to the time period that people have experienced between the written portion and a notification of either rejection or a one on one interview.

Also, are rejections letters always sent, or at least some type of notification??

I can tell you, after having waited a longer-than-expected time myself, that yes... they do send rejection letters after the written application.  It's not happy to receive :(   I hope you fare better than I did---

I am in the same boat. How long did you wait until you got a response?

I am just curious because I am very nervous just like you.

Thanks.

I'm confused.  I first got a phone call saying that my online application looked highly competitive.  Then I did the written portion which I mailed to them. Now I'm waiting for a phone interview. 1 week until the month is up, and I'm very nervous.
