Title: Passed the polygraph...
Post by: argog on May 10, 2008, 07:46 PM
I took a preemployment poly. Actually two- the first was inconclusive cause I think I screwed up the countermeasures.
It was pretty recent so I don't want to get into particulars but it boils down to me believing that polygraph is complete bs.
I made the polygrapher believe that I believed in it when the truth was I had a hard time not yawning and asking the examiner to hurry up with the explanation.  ;D

I did have a hard time with part of the test though. The tough part was keeping a straight face and not falling out of the special polygraph chair laughing. When the examiner "caught" me on the stim test, I praised the great abilities of the examiner and the machine.

I wish I could say more because I was skeptical about the countermeasures working initially. I figured it couldn't hurt though and it didn't.

I doubt that very much.  Polygraphers can see that type of subterfuge coming a mile away.

My guess is that George put you up to this.  Perhaps you ARE george posting under an alias.

Nice try george!!
