Nick Savastano (http://www.polygraphtest.com/about.htm), a member of the American Polygraph Association (http://www.polygraph.org) who gives lie detector tests for the Fox gameshow
The Moment of Truth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Moment_of_Truth_(US_game_show)), was hired by
Us Weekly to polygraph celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perez_Hilton) regarding the latter's recent claim (http://www.usmagazine.com/perez_hilton_john_mayer_definitely_bi) to have French kissed musician John Mayer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Mayer).
The polygraph examination was conducted in Hilton's walk-in closet, and questions were asked by
Us Weekly entertainment editor Jeffrey Epstein whilst Savastino operated the polygraph instrument, giving real-time feedback on whether Hilton's answers were true or false.
On his website (http://www.polygraphtest.com/about.htm), Savastano also lists the California Association of Polygraph Examiners (http://www.californiapolygraph.org) among his affiliations, though that site's roster (http://www.californiapolygraph.org/members/roster.htm) does not presently include his name.
Here are some frame grabs from
Us Weekly's video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdhONo3SdzY) of the polygraph examination:

Nick Savastano needs but one hand to operate the polygraph instrument!
Well, that's pop culture for you.
It must be accurate, I read it in the Enquirer!
TC
This must be quite embarrassing for the polygraph profession. :-[
Maury Povich and Jerry Springer think polygraphs are accurate.....
.......SHOULDN'T YOU!
