I am in the beginning of the "formal" process after a phone interview from the DoD. I have taken two polys before, and know I failed one only towards the end of the test because I obtained the results by mail. Can someone please tell me what is the simplest method, (what technique *other than* "countermeasures" ) to pass to poly? If I just sit there and don't think to deeply about the questions, just answer truthfully?
There is no sure way of passing a polygraph. Telling the truth is no guarantee that one will pass.
The method I used to finally pass a polygraph was to simply keep telling the truth and hoping that one day the coin toss would land on "pass" instead of "fail." That method is particularly unsatisfying, but in my case it did eventually work.
Is it that if someone has a lower reading than certain baseline questions that indicates "truth," an even reading is inconclusive and stronger is a "lie?"
