Title: 3 questions about spies.
Post by: nopolycop on Nov 01, 2007, 11:29 AM
Does anyone know the total nmber of spies who have been identified and convicted of spying since the CIA/FBI/DOE or any other government agency with access to national secrets started polygraph screening?  If this number is known, how many of these convicted spies also passed polygraphs prior to service, or as part of on-going "national security" testing?   Lastly, is there a list by name of these individuals?

Although it doesn't deal at any length with polygraph screening, for a list of modern espionage cases see "Espionage Against the United States by American Citizens, 1947-2001" by Katherine L. Herbig and Martin F. Wiskoff:
