George,
I can see from reading the relevant blog topic (https://antipolygraph.org/blog/?p=102) that the FBI's answers to Senator Grassley's recent questions are no more responsive than they were a decade ago when he posed similar questions following my testimony (http://www.antipolygraph.org/hearings/senate-judiciary-1997/richardson-statement.shtml) before his committee. I would recommend that you send to his office, to the office of Senator Dick Durbin (the ranking minority member of that committee and now a part of the majority party), and to the relevant media a link to the blog and perhaps a link to the aforementioned testimony so that he and others might read your commentary regarding just how truly meaningless those responses are and to what a large extent he has now been stone walled on this topic over the last decade. Regards, Drew
Drew,
Agreed! I am preparing correspondence to Senators Grassley and Durbin, as well as others inside and outside government. While Dick Durbin was actually not the ranking minority member of the Senate Judiciary Committee (Pat Leahy, who presumably will be the new committee chairman, was), he seemed to be the committee member most outspokenly critical of polygraphy at the 2001 Hearing on Issues Surrounding the Use of Polygraphs (http://antipolygraph.org/hearings/senate-judiciary-2001/senate-hearing-107-294.pdf).
