Title: Re: Psychology Test?
Post by: bacon_aint_easy on Dec 15, 2006, 03:25 AM
Hi, if you have already taken your oral board, then the psych test is very similar in some ways.  For example, the psychologist will ask you your view on things and what makes you angry.  They also talk about your employment history and how it determines your personal background. In las vegas, they make you take both a written psysch test as well as the interview. Remember to arrive on time, have a positive demeanor, and sell yourself just as you did at the oral board, you'll do great   BAE

Pysch tests may vary from department to department and specifically from Psychologist/Psyciatrist to Psychologist/Psychiatrist.

Overall, just be yourself and answer questions as YOU would answer them, not like you think they should be answered.  Be prepared to take a very long test with the same questions over and over just stated differently.  this is why it is important to answer honestly so that your answers match from one to the other.

I really would not worry much about this portion of the test it is rare that people actually fail this portion.
