Title: Getting into the Intelligence Field
Post by: White_Knight on Jul 22, 2006, 09:18 PM
Hello,
I hoping someone can point me in the right direction.  I am very interested in getting involved in the Intelligence community. I was never in the military, but have been training tactically with a Private Military Consulting company for the past 2 years. Some of this training included Intelligence Gathering. I do not have a degree, but I have been an executive in the information technology field for almost 15 years. I spoke to the CIA, but they said I would need to go oversees immediately. Is there any Local or short term CONUS opportunities for HUMINT intelligence? Also How can someone break into the field? There must be a field agent that needs a whipping boy (apprentice). I believe there is the CIFA (counter intelligence Field Activity), but how do you break into the field? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
