Title: NCIS?
Post by: vetappli on Jul 11, 2006, 04:18 AM
Does anyone know if NCIS polygraphs? Or know anything about the process.

Taken from NCIS website:

"NCIS are no longer recruiting.
As of 01 April 2006 the NCIS will cease to exist and staff will move to the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA). Direct recruitment for SOCA vacancies is anticipated shortly and further information will appear on this website."

Since the first reply never addressed your question, it is my understanding that NCIS does not polygraph the applicants as a standardized part of the hiring process, but does reserve the right to administer a polygraph if it is deemed necessary.

It appears that NCIS isn't going out of business after all, and is actually accepting applications for the 1811 series until the 31st of October.
