Title: who knows?
Post by: flh on Jul 06, 2006, 12:29 AM
will men in the companies or neighboring departments know what was said in the exam/"interigation". Or are the things discussed kept confidencial?

I can't believe that No such authors experience is so much like mine and reading that digs up so many old feelings. I am a Christian man and believe in a truly changed soul. I will never take another polygraph again it was the most exusting and humiliating thing ever. For me to be judged by this interigation and call me unquallified is a true insult. But I am now working for another department and it all worked out better anyway cause I wouldnt change departments for the world. I just wonder if my current department knows the things that were talked about in that poly? Just because its some very personal stuff that is really no ones business not even a future employer much less a fellow employee. What do you think?

I don't know the specific details of your poly, but I would hope that you didn't go into it with the intentions of making sure the polygrapher knew that you were a "Christian man."  If so, that could have been the reason for the bad experience you received.

In George's book, it specifically expresses to avoid bringing your religion into the picture during the pre-test questioning/interview.  As we all know, religion doesn't equate to morals.

I am glad that you found employment though.  I would venture to say that unless you live in some really backwoods town in the deep south, and the town you failed the poly for was in the next town across the way, then you have nothing to worry about.  Good luck.
