Title: Future Polygraphs at State Department?

The article linked (at pages 31-32) indicates that State is toying with employing polygraphs for employee screening.  However, it makes it seem unlikely because, apparently, a good many people at State were influenced by the 2002 NAS study.

It also references some new technology regarding brain scans that apparently could be used for lie detection...

The only reason to do so is to set the stage to roll all or some of the CIA into the Department of State in the mother of all intelligence reorganizations.
