The Angel of Death, Charles Cullen, as described in a recent Readers Digest article, working as a nurse, murdered as many as 40 people over a ten year period by giving them lethal injections. After his first victim died, he was considered a suspect and asked to take a polygraph test. He passed the polygraph and went on to kill at least another 39 people. The failure of the polygraph cost 39 people their lives. (Read the section on his poly exam)

Johnn,
Thank you for posting this. Charles Cullen is not the only serial killer to have fooled the polygraph. Gary Leon Ridgway, A.K.A. the "Green River Killer" did the same. See, Deadliest Killer in U.S. History Passed Polygraph (https://antipolygraph.org/forum/index.php?topic=1436.msg11312#msg11312).
