Title: Tricky Questions
Post by: llamatippin on Nov 17, 2005, 01:32 AM
What if my polygraph asks me "have you ever read about ways to trick the polygraph?" and "have you ever tried to beat the polygraph?"?

Are the answers to these questions irrelevant as long as proper cm methods are used during controls?

Thanks,
LlamaTippin

If you're planning on using countermeasures and want to pass, you would be wise to deny both. If either question were asked during the "in-test" phase (while you're connected to the polygraph instrument), they would be relevant (not irrelevant) questions.
