Title: Re: Will I Lose my Clearance? Help
Post by: George W. Maschke on Sep 28, 2005, 06:09 PM
I don't know whether, or under what circumstances DoD might revoke a security clearance based on failure of a CIA pre-employment polygraph, but it does seem that the results, including the polygrapher's report of any admissions you make, may be provided to DoD. I suspect that any admissions attributed to you would be given more weight than the polygraph chart readings themselves.

I do know that DoD does not automatically revoke security clearances for failure of an FBI pre-employment polygraph.

Best way to find out is to talk to your org's TSO in the Pentagon...
