Title: Poll, Please post your reply
Post by: confusednow on Jun 19, 2005, 11:22 PM
I would like folks in a quick poll in order to better understand the polygraph.

If you all can spare the time to answer the following questions when you reply to this post, it will be greatly appreciated.

1. Who conducted your test.
2. What was your test format (directed lie, probable lie or relevant/irrelavent).
3. Were you aware of how polygraph's are conducted before you took the test (did you know about control vs relevant etc)?
4. Did you use countermeasures?
5. Did you lie on control questions (regardless of answer to Question 3)?
6. Did you pass/fail?
7. Were you tricked into making admissions?
8. Did you lie on relevant questions?

Thanks all, I appreciate your time.

Your poll is not likely to garner many respondents. But even if it did, because respondents would be self-selecting, the results would not be statistically meaningful.

You might, however, find it worthwhile reviewing some of the personal statements posted here:
