Title: No Post Test Pass?
Post by: AlmostHalo on Apr 27, 2005, 07:40 PM
I recently had a polygraph for a LE agency.. It was the r / i  type, I was nervous throughout and did not use any cm's... after it I had no post interrogation but the administrator did not say I passed either.. He just said good luck and walked me out... What's the verdict?  I told the truth but could feel my heart pounding during the 1st half just cause it was so intimidating...

if there were more questions on the examiner's mind...believe me..hed pound ya

did you get a good relationship going with your BI?
that holds a lot of weight..if they believe in you and know you are not holding back..

maybe because i am female he wanted to make me comfortable..but my BI detect..and i got along well..and they had my life since grade school...no secrets...at all..or anything to fess up..

They didn't start the BI yet, they use the poly pre-test to give some direction for the BI investigator

almosthalo,

It is standard polygraph practice to conduct a post-test interrogation when the charts are scored as "deception indicated." Thus, the absence of a post-test interrogation is generally a good indication that one has passed.
