Title: Passed Polygraph...what's next?
Post by: urbannerd on Feb 09, 2005, 12:26 AM
Here is my situation:

I received word that I passed a NSA polygraph given in December 2004. During that session I did admit that I had an unpaid traffic ticket from years ago (from another state and never caused my license to be suspended). A clearance rep said that I had to send in proof of payment...which I did. Now the rep says that my case will now enter 2 "evaluation phases" before my clearance is finally approved.

1) What are these final "evaluation phases"?

2) Can they cause a denial of clearance?

3) Any timeframe on these final stages?

I was under the assumption that once I took and passed the poly, I was done. I know the clearance folks already contacted my references AND I know they did the credit-check because the inquiry is there.

Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.
