I don't seem to follow your logic in this matter. You make a reference as to your IQ being in the top 2% and yet later make a reference as to failing the test due to the questions being so "vague".
I don't mean to slam you or anything but perhaps your IQ and common sense have never met one another. Logic would dictate that obviously people who are not in the top 2% are passing the test, so perhaps you failed because you relied on the fact that you are indeed intelligent, but somehwat ignorant in the fact that even smart people need to study or research so that they know what to expect. Maybe they were vague to test your common sense. Also, now that you know what the test is like, then maybe the second time around you will pass it. Don't just give up because you failed something on your first try.
Either way, I would consider it a blessing, you would probably make way more money in the private sector.
Good luck.
Dear Seer,
The government is full of problems. Many of them very obvious to outsiders looking in.
The problem is trying to solve them despite all of the roadblocks which are put in our way.
No one says that government workers are smart (I have been a government worker for many years and I learn something everyday). We have to be optimist and we do the best that we can within the system that we work in.
Regards.
