Title: Counter Intelligence Polygraph
Post by: abcd1234 on Aug 24, 2004, 12:34 AM
Are there any questions regarding lifestyle on the CI polygraph exam.  Such as sexual activity, or illegal activity as a youngster?   Or is there just a broad question about commiting crimes, and if you say yes they ask more in depth questions?
Thanks

The relevant questions on a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination involve espionage (unauthorized release of classified information or contacts with foreign agents), sabotage, and terrorism. "Control" questions may involve such behavior as lying to an employer, loved one, or person in a position of authority or stealing anything from an employer. Questions about sexual activity should not be asked.

For more about the kinds of questions you might encounter, see Chapter 3 of The Lie Behind the Lie Detector (http://antipolygraph.org/lie-behind-the-lie-detector.pdf).
