I read your "Personal Statement" that you posted earlier this year.
I, too, am a Reserve Officer w/a TS clearance (when applicable), and am very sorry to hear what happened to you, and how the poly costed you multiple careers. Though my polys didn't affect my career, they have left blemishes on my personal and family life.
I voluntarily took two polys, showing "deception" on both, where there was none. Based on the the results of the first one (though there was no proof other then the poly results), my wife left me and moved out of the state w/the kids :'(.
The second I sat for (covertly) in an attempt to refute the first one, but since it went even WORSE then the first.... I didn't even bother to tell my wife of taking it.
Still, we reconciled, and she moved back down months later, but our relationship will never be the same; as far as she's concerned, I would have passed it, if I were truthful.
Lots of money, time, and emotion tied to a stupid little machine dealing out life impacting results, huh?
I was sooo angry about the polys >:(; I wish I had gone to your website b4 I took it.
Though like so many others, I thought, "If I'm going to tell the truth, why should I be worried ;D?". --But, again, like so many others, they come to this website after it's too late :(.
As for Jack Trimarco, a man who has the power set flames to your career goals (and many others, I'm sure), I see he has set up shop in Beverly Hills 8)... life's rough.
I noticed his biography of his attempts to complete his Master's, but he never gets around to finishing it... but he embellishes educational background w/the multiple attempts to complete grad school, but then finally admits in the final sentence, he never could ;).
That's like me publishing my multiple locations & dates I've tried to complete running my marathons. But if I never finish it, what's the point?
Some people need to claim anything, even it they never finished the process, I guess.
By the way, is that his photo on his homepage? If not, does the 'deception' start at the front door???
If it is his photo, he's got a mug that's a great advertisement for business.

I'm very sorry to read of your polygraph experience. You might want to print out for your wife a copy of The Lie Behind the Lie Detector (http://antipolygraph.org/lie-behind-the-lie-detector.pdf). It provides a thorough debunking of polygraphy, including how to pass whether or not one is telling the truth.
Your wife might want to consider that, had you planned on lying on the polygraph, you could have gotten on-line and quickly learned polygraph countermeasures.
As for Jack Trimarco, I was aware of his website and photograph (which is indeed his). I believe, however, that his use of the FBI seal for commercial purposes is inappropriate, and perhaps illegal. I suspect that the key reason fewer people have signed the on-line petition (http://www.petitiononline.com/antipoly/petition.html) to President Bush to end polygraph screening is that many prefer to remain anonymous.
