Title: secret service polygraph
Post by: jackson on Jan 31, 2004, 03:30 AM
Many applicants have had a negative experience with this agencys exam, They seem to be more interogating during the polygraph than other agencies. I was curious if the secret service has a very high polygraph disqualification rate for uniformed division officer candidates. Maybe their is someone who took the agencys polygraph is reading this.

I took the poly for uniform division back in the fall of 2002....worst experience ever...it felt like i was being seen as dishonest even before we started....then afterwards he sat there for 45 mins telling me that im "99% there" and that I just need to admit to what i was being deceptive about (even though i was 100% truthful)....I highly suggest that someone thinks twice before applying to the USSS...even if you have nothing to hide...

Anyone know for sure if they use detection devices?  My friend who took their test said they had a pad in the chair!
