Title: florida highway patrol, polygraph
Post by: jackson on Jan 31, 2004, 03:25 AM
From what Ive heard, There is a mojor disqualification rate of applicants who take this agencys exam. I personally dont think that more than 50% of the applicants would falsify any information. I am very curious if anyone here can provide me with any type of information regarding the polygraph examination for the Florida Highway Patrol, Does anyone know if they have a 60% disqualification rate in the polygraph as the Connecticut State police does. Ive always wanted polygraph information on this agency.

They're not the only department that has an extremely high dq rate because of the poly.  Phoenix, LVMPD, and LAPD are a few more of the disillusioned ones that rely so much on this archaic and absurd device.  I suggest they use palm reading as an alternative.
