Title: Phase II Interview
Post by: Question on Dec 03, 2003, 04:25 AM
I am scheduled for the FBI Phase II interview.  I am not exactly sure what to expect for the interview with the agents.  Does anyone have any advice?

Yes... Certainly someone out there could reveal the questions we will face!!!

Revealing questions would be incredibly unethical (and potentially illegal) since everyone signed a confidentiality agreement.  Since ethics/integrity are a large part of what the FBI wants in agents, I would be shocked if you get a response from anyone who got that far in the process.  You may also want to re-evaluate wheter or not you are cut out for this job.

That being said, read the book they gave you.  It lists traits they want to see.  Come up with 2-3 scenarios for each and practice them in the SAR format (situations, action, response).  Add as many detials as you can.  Don't get nervous.  That's about it.

Good luck

Great advice.  We all signed a confidentiality agreement and I certainly would not reveal the questions.  If you follow the advice of your applicant coordinator, you should do fine.

Good Luck!

Go to www.passingthefbiexams.com
If you purchase the ebook it has 60 behavioral interview questions that you could possibly run into during the phase II interview.  I signed a confidentiality agreement as well and while I can't say exactly what the questions are, I used those 60 questions, prepared answers and passed the interview and those 60 questions helped BIG time.  Those questions aren't anything you couldn't learn by taking a behavioral interview course like I did and that's how I came up with those questions.  However those courses are much more expensive than the book.  Go to the site and read about it.

Good luck.

George, is this guy giving you a commission on the sale of his little ebook?  He sure is using a lot of space on your board hawking it.  Catchy website address but maybe it would be more accurate to say passingthefbiexamseventhoughIdidn'tmyself.com
