Hello,
This is my first post, I have certainly enjoyed the good read of these forums.
Quick question for you:
I am currently awaiting a clearance from a large federal organization, and today I received a phone call from a rep of that organization. He asked to have a "personal interview" regarding my clearance. He didn't offer any other sort of details, only that I should bring my birth certificate/passport/and DL.
Am I about to be polygraphed, or is this just some sort of other interview?
I appreciate ya'lls responses.

Lionvoice,
I can't know for sure whether you might eventually be asked to submit to a polygraph "test" or not, but I can tell you that we have heard no reports of applicants for security clearances being asked to come in for a "personal interview" and then be ambushed with an on-the-spot demand for a polygraph examination. It seems most likely that you'll be having an interview sans polygraph. If you are presented with a surprise demand for a polygraph examination, please let us know.
