how do lawenforcement agencies view applicants who apply to many agencies. could that look bad and dq someone. i feel applicants can apply as much as they want because they are just looking for a job. i heard some agencies look at this bad and dq u. if it is true than its stupid.

Noel,

Sorry for my delay in responding.

In my opinion, application to multiple agencies shows a genuine interest in a law enforcement career. As long as you handle this right when you are questioned about it, it shouldn't be a problem.

Consider explaining that you are absolutely dead-set on working in law enforcement, and that you understand just how competitive the process is. I suppose that it couldn't hurt to tell the person asking that his agency is your first choice, and that the others are all back-ups.

Still, this should not be a tremendous problem.

Movement within the law enforcement community is quite common.  They won't give it a second thought.  Gino's advice is dead on (for once), ;)
