I have heard that taking a stimulant or a depressant can help one pass the polygraph test if they might need to "bend" the truth. this being that the drugs(legal of course) will cause ones heartrate to increase or decrease. Any thoughts?
Also im sure you heard of the method of putting a tack in your shoe and pressing down on it with your toe when your asked a question. the idea being that the painful sensation will cause a constant pattern on the test. Any suggestions please!!!!!
swampthing,
Taking stimulants and depressants make no difference. The responses measured are comparative in nature and any drug taken will accelerate or decelerate your heart rate uniformly regardless of any other physiological response. You can't "turn on" or "turn off" the effect of the drug from question to question.
As for the "tack-in-the-shoe", I'll leave that to others who know more about physical CM's.
