Wondering what my chances are. Here are the details, trying to be as vague as possible though.
- No damaging admissions during pre-test interview.
- No stim test.
- Probable-lie format.
- No countermeasures. (Controlled breathing tempo though.)
- No damaging admissions during test itself.
- Was asked if I had studied polygraphy, answered "no". (Not on chart.)
- Was repeatedly reminded to focus on the questions.
- Was given the impression I was not doing well. Never explicitly accused of lying though.
- When I asked what questions were posing problems for me, no specific questions were identified.
- Given post-test interrogation.
- No damaging admissions during post-test interrogation itself.
- Told final assessment would be made by HQ.
- Afterward, shown to the door, curt but not completely impolite goodbye.
what agency polygraphed you, that sounds similar to mine. I was told I passed after the test, just recently I was told I had in fact failed.
Based on your description, it's very hard to say. The fact that you were not specifically accused of lying seems to bode well.
Brian, I'd rather not say. You were told on the spot that you passed? Sorry things didn't work out for you. Can you appeal?
Thanks for the feedback, guys. Sorry it's so vague. I'll update with the results when available.
Here's the update: I failed. Quite a disappointment.
Human subject,
Did you get the 'fail' in writing?
Two polygraphers from the same agency told me I failed my 'tests'. I called personnel and found out that they both lied. I got two 'no opinion' results instead and I am awaiting my final results from my appeal.
Find out what your remedies are. Never give up!
Yeah, it was in writing. I will appeal.
