dm1974,

Everybody seeking employment with the FBI, even janitorial staff, has to take the polygraph.

I believe that the false positive rate associated with the FBI's pre-employment polygraph policy is so high, and the consequences "failing" so great, that it would be prudent not to seek employment with the FBI until such time as the Bureau ends its reliance on this pseudoscientific nonsense. See my recent article "Just Say 'No' to FBI Polygraphs" for more on this.

Does the support staff (annalyst) have to take the Poly?
I was interested in applying but I do not want to take a polygraph test. I have taken it before at NSA but do not want to do it again.
